The invention relates to an arrangement for the monitoring of a line (52) or the like and/or of an electrical control line (12 to 15). The said line (52) is assigned a measuring sensor (2, 4), especially a manometer for recording the pressure which can be generated in the line by means of a pump (48). So that a functionally expedient and reliable monitoring, if appropriate even of already existing installations, can be carried out with a low outlay in terms of circuitry, it is proposed that the electrical control lines (12 to 15) be monitored by at least two measuring sensors (2, 4) of the said line (52), in each case by evaluation logics (16, 18). When a preselectable measured value is obtained from at least one measuring sensor, the evaluation logics (16, 18) transmit a starting signal, especially for the pump (48), whilst, in the event of a fault in at least one control line (12 to 15) as a result of a short circuit or a break, a fault signal is transmitted. <IMAGE>
