The separable short-circuit rotor for electrical machines contains a shaft (6), a yoke (2), a toothed zone and a winding which is constructed as a squirrel cage. The toothed zone is designed as individual teeth (1), one of the end sides of each tooth (1) being displaced in the tangential direction with respect to the other end side by the magnitude of the inclination of the teeth (1). Each tooth (1) is designed as a set of metal sheets (7, 8). On the end sides, each tooth (1) has recesses (3) in which a part of the short-circuit ring (4) of the winding is accommodated. <IMAGE>
