A container for pourable and in particular powdery materials is provided with at least one closable emptying opening located at the bottom and a funnel-shaped loosening bottom surrounding each emptying opening. The bottom has a discharge opening, directed towards the emptying opening, for pneumatic pressure medium such as compressed air, which discharge opening opens downwards at an angle in accordance with the inclination of the bottom and therefore cannot be obstructed by the bulk material.
