PURPOSE:To simplify an initial program loader by assigning a supervising device in a dataway system also with a role of a relay device for a device requiring the initial loading (IPL) to attain efficiently the loading from a high-order computer. CONSTITUTION:When a CPU 400 is a high-order CPU in a procedure executing the IPL, it is informed (M11) to a supervising device 100 at the start of the CPU 400. The supervising device 100 memorizes it. Then, when a CPU 200 requiring the IPL is started, the IPL is requested (M12) to the supervising device 100. When the supervising device 100 receives the request of the IPL, the device 100 informs (M13) the device requesting the IPL to the high-order CPU 400. Then, the high-order CPU 400 informs (M14) the processing of the IPL to the device requesting the IPL and executs the IPL(P). |
