<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the size and weight of the entire train and to simplify the check and maintenance by optically detecting the slipping and sliding states of the train. CONSTITUTION:The first spectral frequency detector 10 focused to the traveling surface of a rail 4 and the second spectral frequency detector 11 focused to the rotating surface of a wheel 2 are provided on a train body 6. The output signals of the detectors 10, 11 are processed by a comparison output circuit 12 to display a slipping and sliding states of a display unit 13. A controller 14 of a drive unit 1 is controlled by the output signal of the output circuit 12. In this manner, the sliding and slipping states of the wheels can be accurately detected without contact, thereby obtaining a railway train having high safety.</p> |
