PURPOSE:To obtain a ferrite magnetic core with a small magnetostriction and a high gap accuracy easily by a method wherein, when one solid block for a plurality of ferrite cores is formed, a gap is provided to its center leg and after the block is baked the gap is adjusted and the block is sliced to the optional thickness. CONSTITUTION:One solid block for a plurality of E-shape ferrite cores 7 is molded. When the block is molded, a gap is provided to a center leg 9 while the direction of the projection of the center leg and outside legs is the direction of compression. After the block is baked, the outside legs 10a, 10b are ground to adjust the gap if necessary. Then the block is sliced into required E-shape ferrite magnetic cores 7. With this constitution, the molding density at the time of molding can be uniform and an E-shape ferrite magnetic core with a high gap accuracy can be obtained. |
