PURPOSE:To improve mechanical rigidity of a water control valve of an hydroelectric power plant by providing a flat disk part to be connected with a bearing at a right angle with a shaft center line of a bearing and a ball body part on a half-divided valve trunk. CONSTITUTION:A part of a ball trunk 1 is formed in flat disk parts 17 close to but not in touch with a cylindrical valve body 2 driven to be rotated at a position crossing a shaft center line of a bearing 3 at a right angle on a half-divided valve trunk 1a. The flat disk parts 17 are located in such a way to hold an outer diameter D of the connecting parts 14 and 15 at a ball body 1b side inside the bearing 3 from both sides in parallel and connected at a right angle position of the ball body 1b and made in one body. In this way, a thrust delivered to the valve trunk is delivered to a down stream side via the flat disk part to decrease deformations of the valve trunk and the valve body. |
