Pump arrangement for the delivery and handling of a liquid, especially manure, in which a preferably fixed, height-adjustable and swivellable submersible pump (2) is arranged in a vessel (1), which is connected to a collecting tank (4), the pressure side of the submersible pump (2), in order to extend its effective range, being connectable to the inlet (11) of at least one pipeline (12) through the outlet (13) of which pumped liquid in the area of the base of the vessel (9) is fed back to the vessel (1). On its underside the submersible pump (2) has a cone (16), which is used for draining the collecting tank (4) into an aperture (17), designed as a mating cone and arranged in the vessel base (9), of a connecting line (3) to the collecting tank (4). <IMAGE>
