The invention relates to a sliding finisher for manufacturing prefabricated concrete structural elements, with form arrangements defining the structural element shape, with a concrete supply device and with at least one compacting device for at least the uppermost region of the structural element(s), at least the compacting device being movable relative to the structural element in the manufacturing direction. In known sliding finishers, vibrators, vibration skids or similar vibrating devices are used for compacting the concrete, which slide on the upper side of the structural element. As a result of the simultaneous influence of the vibration and the sliding friction, cracks can scarcely be avoided. According to the invention, however, this is avoided in that the compacting device has at least one vibration roller which rests on the upper side of the structural element, rolls off slip-free and the axis of rotation of which lies transversely to the manufacturing direction. As a result of the elimination of the friction of the compacting element on the upper side of the structural element, crack formation is avoided even in the case of thin-walled hollow structural elements.
