A connecting piece (10) having a screw-in piece (20) and a plug (30) is proposed. The screw-in piece (20) can be screwed by means of an external thread (23) into a threaded hole (13) of a connecting part (12), in a pressure-tight manner, and holds a fitting insertion step (35) of the plug (30) in an inner insertion hole (25). At the end, the insertion step (35) supports tongues (41, 42) which can spring in radially and have barb-like snapping hooks (44, 45) which latch in automatically, during insertion, behind an end face (28) at one end of the screw-in piece (20). A spring element (38) which is axially pretensioned between the plug (30) and the screw-in piece (20) secures this latched position. The connecting piece (10) requires few individual parts, is simple and cheap, and permits simple assembly and dismantling (Fig. 2). <IMAGE>
