The invention relates to an apparatus for preventing the sliding-away of released skis in deep snow, which apparatus is equipped with a ski brake and with a heel depressor. In order to prevent the sliding-away of such a ski, it is equipped with an interceptor screen which, in the movement position, is retained in the folded-together state on the ski and, in the unfolded state, has an air resistance which is multiple of that of the ski. In this arrangement, the unfolding of the interceptor screen can be produced by means of springs or by means of a compressed gas cartridge.
