PURPOSE:A composition that contains, as a base, a graft polymer obtained by grafting vinyl chloride onto a specific acrylic resin, thus being suitable for use as a recording medium of the electrostatic capacitance type, because of its capability of containing a large amount of carbon without deterioration in physical properties and reduction in flowability and further causing no resin decomposition. CONSTITUTION:99.9-50pts.wt. of vinyl chloride and 0-30pts.wt. of vinyl compounds copolymerizable with vinyl chloride are grafted onto 0.1-20pts.wt. of an acrylic resin containing more than 60wt% of alkyl acrylate with 1-8C alkyl and/or alkyl methacrylate with 2-10C alkyl and the resultant graft copolymer is combined with electroconductive carbon in an amount of 1-50, preferably 5- 30pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the graft copolymer.
