NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula I {Pc is phthalocyanine residue; W is of formula II or III [R' and R'' are each H, methyl, or ethyl; B is >=2C straight chain alkylene or (substituted) phenylene]; X is halogen; R is H or (substituted) lower alkyl; A is (substituted) phenylene or naphthylene; Y is -SO2CH=CH2, or -SO2CH2CH2Z (Z is group capable of being eliminated by alkali); a and b are each 1-3; c is 0-3; a+b+c<=4} and its salt. EXAMPLE:A compound of formula IV. USE:Dye for dyeing hydroxyl- or carbonamide group-contg. fibrous material, esp. cellulose one, with excellent humidity and light resistance. PREPARATION:For example, (A) a compound of formula V or its salt prepared by condensation of both diamine and cyanamide with phthalocyanine sulfochloride and (B) an aromatic amine of formula VI are subjected to condensation with a cyanuric halide.
