<p>A one-piece wire stuffing cover (11) having a series of tubular terminal receiving sockets (12) with first and second wire gripping slots (16,17) at front and rear faces (18, 19) and respective wire stuffers between the slots (18, 19) lead-out openings for wires (33) terminated by the cover (11) being provided in the sockets (12) rearward of the wire stuffers (20) and opening to the second slot (17). The lead-out openings (21) are provided by recessed portions in the sockets (11) which define wire engaging shoulders (22) extending across a rear edge of the terminal (30) for strain relief. The second slots (17) diverge progressively to release the wire (33) at the rear face (19) during termination.</p> |
