PURPOSE:To realize a control function of a wide range, by installing a common register group, from which and in which reading and writing can be performed from both a working program side and programmable controller side. CONSTITUTION:An instruction decoding section 4A and variable instruction processing section 4B are installed in an instruction decoding and processing circuit 4. A register group 15 is constituted of >=2 common data registers 15A and an address decoding circuit 15B. When such constitution is made, the register group 15 can be used from a working program side and also from a programmable controller PC13 side and, by previously fixing the use of each of the registers 15A at the working programming side and PC13 designing side, a control function of a wide range can be realized.
