PURPOSE:To eliminate trouble such as original replacement during copying operation on manual insertion basis by starting an original conveying device when the manual insertion of copying paper with regard to a copying machine which is associated operatively with the original conveying device. CONSTITUTION:The automatic original conveying device (ADF) 200 consisting of the unit 201 of an original feed-out part A and the unit 202 of an original conveyance part DF is connected to the copying machine 100 mechanically and electrically. Then the DF unit 202 is closed to the top surface of the copying machine 100 and that is detected by a detection switch, the copying machine 100 is controlled in ADF mode and the copying machine 100 and ADF200 enter an interlocking state. Then, copying paper is inserted into a manual insertion port 32 on the condition of copying by manual insertion, and when that is detected by a sensor 34, the ADF200 is controlled to start. Thus, trouble such as original replacement in the copying by manual insertion is eliminated. |
