PURPOSE:To obtain a liquid hydrocarbon oil with suppressing formation of carbon in a reactor, by melting plastic waste in the presence of a catalyst, decomposing thermally the reaction product under specific conditions, subjecting the prepared vapor reaction product to secondary thermal decomponsition. CONSTITUTION:Plastic waste and a catalyst are sent to the preliminray reaction tank 4, the waste is melted under heating, the reaction product is fed to the first reaction tank 2, and decomposed thermally in the presence catalyst at 400-470 deg.C with stirring. The vapor raction product evolved by the thermal decomposition is passed through the second reaction tank 3 having a catalytic layer of 1-15mm. particle diameter heated at 350-470 deg.C, and subjected to secondary thermal decomposition. While the catalyst deteriorated in the first reaction tank 2 is taken out of the tank by the eliminating device 5. EFFECT:Capable of keeing continually catalystic catavity.
