ODORLESS OR LOW-ODOR RESIN COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition having no or low ordor and low evaporation loss, and excellent in view of environmental protection and resource saving, by compounding an unsaturated polyester resin with a phenol acrylate as a novel low-odor crosslinking agent. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is prepared by compounding (A) 100pts.wt. of an unsaturated polyester resin or a polybutadiene resin modified with (meth)acrylic acid with (B) preferably 10-200pts.wt. of the (meth)acrylate of a phenol (derivative). EFFECT:The present composition is comparable or superior to the conventional composition also in the electrical properties, mechanical properties, etc.
