PURPOSE:To always display the desired information by supplying only the code corresponding to the desired information to a portable terminal device containing a display. CONSTITUTION:A code corresponding to the desired information is supplied to a portable terminal device 1 containing a display and stored there. While a radio station 10 receives and transmits various codes corresponding to various types of information stored at a center 8 and those information. The device 1 receives the information and codes from the station 10 and compares them with the input codes stored previously. When the coincidence is obtained from said comparison, the information corresponding to the relevant code is displayed to the device 1. Thus the desired information can always be displayed to a portable terminal device containing a display.
