发明名称 MANUFACTURING EQUIPMENT OF LITHIUM ELECTRODE
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent adhesion of lithium to a cutting edge and continuously manufacture lithium electrodes by producing a cutting edge with ultra high molecular polyethylene having a molecular weight of 3,500,000 or more. CONSTITUTION:In lithium electrode manufacturing equipment by which a lithium sheet 1 is cut with a cutting edge 2, ultra high molecular polyethylene having a molecular weight of 3,500,000 or more is used as a material for the cutting edge. This polyethylene has low friction coefficient and good adhesion prevention capability and also good shock resistance and wear resistance. This polyethylene can be used as a cutting edge of a 0.2-2.0mm. thick lithium sheet. The ultra high molecular polyethylene is commercially available as a molding material such as, for example, ''New Light'' of Sakushin Industrial Co.
