PURPOSE:To facilitate detection of scattering of angle of bending in longitudinal direction of a work and its correction by detecting angle of bending from the work without contacting using angle detectors provided at plural places in longitudinal direction of the work which is bent between a die and a punch. CONSTITUTION:With descent of a ram 3, a work 5 is bent between a punch 4 and a die 2 attached to the ram 3. During the work, a housing 9 of an optical system is turned at a specified period around a supporting point 8, and light is irradiated to the side of the work 5 from a light source 10. Reflected light from the work 5 is condensed on an image sensor 14. The amount of light becomes maximum when the angle between the side of the work 5 and the angle of incidence is right angle. A picture processing device 17 in which relation between address of each photodetector 14a and angle of bending is set is connected to the body 6 of angle detector, and the device 17 calculates the angle of bending from a detection signal inputted from the element 14a. |
