PURPOSE:A gray hair dye, obtained by using a specific oxidation hair dye without any alkali agent in an aqueous based two-agent type hair dye containing the specific oxidation dye and hydrogen peroxide as respective essential components and specifying the pH thereof, capable of preventing the damage of hair and suitable for cumulative hair dyeing. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous based two-agent type gray hair dye containing the first agent of 6-9pH containing 0.5-5.0wt% oxidation dye containing p-phenylenediamine, N-phenyl-p-phenylenediamine or/and toluene-2,5-diamine sulfate and o-aminophenol, m-aminophenol or/and p-aminophenol in combination as essential components without any alkali agent and the second agent of 1-7pH containing 1-10wt% hydrogen peroxide as an essential component and having 6-8.5pH on mixing both agents. The above-mentioned hair dye is capable of slowly making the gray hair inconspicuous without damage of hair nor excessive decoloring. |
