PURPOSE:To make it possible to set a low idling speed and thereby to improve fuel consumption, by controlling an electromagnetic valve of a fuel supply system to supplementarily increase an amount of fuel corresponding to difference in an engine speed when the engine speed becomes lower than a reference idling speed. CONSTITUTION:There is provided a fuel supply device 7 on an upstream side of a throttle valve 2 in an air intake passage 4 of an air suction pipe 3. The fuel supply device 7 serves to adjust flow of fuel from a fuel passage 5 by an opening and closing control of an electromagnetic valve 6. The electromagnetic valve 6 is controlled by an output signal from an electronic control circuit 16. The electronic control circuit 16 serves to compute a reference injection time on the basis of outputs from an engine speed sensor and a suction pressure sensor 8, and correct the reference injection time according to outputs from a throttle sensor 13, water temperature sensor 10 and O2 sensor 12, etc., then controlling the electromagnetic valve 6 by the corrected injection time. When an engine speed becomes lower than a reference idling speed, the electromagnetic valve 6 is controlled to supply additional fuel corresponding to difference in the engine speed. |
