PURPOSE:To perform safe and sanitary exfoliation while inhibiting the deterioration of an information pattern, by applying oxygen plasma onto the surface of a nickel electroformed mold to which an information has been transferred, and then nickel electroforming it to manufacture a duplicating electroformed mold. CONSTITUTION:The first nickel electroformed film 2 is formed on a negative plate 1 obtd. by laminating a photosensitive layer onto the surface of a substrate and then recording an information (rugged) pattern on said photosensitive layer. Said first nickel electroformed film 2 is peeled off the negative plate 1 and used as a master for forming the second nickel electroformed film 5 to be used as a mother. Hereon, oxygen plasma is applied onto the surface of the first electroformed mold 2 to form an oxide layer on said surface, and then the second nickel electrodeposition is performed. Hence, the exfoliation of the duplicating mold 5 can be facilitated.
