PURPOSE:To enable driving wheels to be brought into contact with a broad running surface and to enable to perform stable running even if an external force is exerted, by a method wherein a running device is so constituted that the positions of driving wheels are changed through rotation of an arm body. CONSTITUTION:A moving body 20 is formed with a car body 21 provided at its upper part with a monitoring appratus 6, and a pair of running device 22 respectively mounted to both sides of the car body 21. The running device 22 comprises a pair of v-shaped arm bodies 23 and 24; a pair of v-shaped arm bodies 25 and 26, having adjoining end parts rotatably coupled with a coupling part between the arm bodies 23 and 24; driving wheels 27-31 coupled with a driving motor; rolling wheels 34 and 35; and an an endless shoe 36 effecting running movement in a condition to be feared with 27a-35a mounted on the outer peripheral surfaces of the driving wheels 27-31 and the rolling wheels 34 and 35. |
