<p>A chamber for wet cleaning of textiles is mounted on pivot supports including one or more which can extend or contract to tilt the chamber so that the vol. of liq. retained by a constant level control can be varied to suit the fabric wt./liq. vol. ratio required. To allow one chamber to be used for fabric wt./wet vol. ratios of 1/4 to 1/8, pref. 1/4 to 1/40, esp. where continuous liq. recirculation may be used, to optimise treatment conditions and/or minimise overall energy costs. Applicable to overhead or low level recirculation systems. More versatile than a static chamber, simpler than adjustment of internal weir or overflow systems.</p> |
