Unit for underwater casting concrete base plate - has pouring tube with surrounding buoyancy member and smoothing disc at lower tube end

The unit is intended for casting a concrete base plate below water table level e.g. in a pit on a building site. It comprises a pouring tube (1) at its upper end provided with a funnel (2), whilst its lower end carries a levelling disc (3). A buoyancy member (4) arranged around the tube permits holding the assembly afloat. - A raft (5) may be arranged around the tube above the float (4) or surrounding the float to provide a working area (30). The tube may be provided with vertically adjustable stops (37,38) to determine the highest position of the tube relative to the raft (5).
