PURPOSE:To measure easily and exactly a valve lift quantity without making it necessary to rearrange parts by fixing a dial gauge to a cylinder head by a holder, and pressing a measuring piece of the dial gauge against the upper part of a suction and exhaust valve. CONSTITUTION:As for a dial gauge holder 31, its section is formed in an almost inverted L shape as shown in the figure, and a chuck 32 for holding a dial gauge 34 is formed on its upper part. Also, as for the chuck 32, two pieces are formed so that two suction and exhaust valves can be measured at the same time. In this case, a measuring piece 37 of the dial gauge 34 is pressed against the upper part of the suction and exhaust valve, therefore, a valve lift of the suction and exhaust valve can be measured exactly by the dial gauge 34. |
