PURPOSE:To prevent efficiently deposition of dust on a catalytic block by hanging strip pieces above the catalytic block having many vertical independent passages for turbulent-flow generation. CONSTITUTION:Plural supporting rods 5 are provided horizontally along a catalytic block 2 above said block 2. A pair of top and bottom strip pieces 7 are hung through rings 6 on the supporting rods tube 5. The material of said pieces 7 is necessary to have light weight and excellent corrosion resistance and an about 0.1mm. thick steel plate or ceramic plate is preferable. The upper part is twisted through 90 deg. against the lower part for using. A waste gas flow becomes an unstationary stream due to approximately half-rotation and swinging motions of said pieces 7 against the supporting rods 5 by the waste gas flow, thereby preventing deposition of dust on the catalytic block. |
