<p>PURPOSE:To adjust easily the timing of transfer shift correction while securing conveyance by varying the rotating speed of a register roll during variable magnification copying operation and adjusting transfer timing, and making the curled state of copying paper unchanged regardless of magnification. CONSTITUTION:Register rolls 10 and 11 are rotated at the same speed with a platen 16 and a drum type photosensitive body 11 simultaneously with the start of an original scan during unmagnification copying operation. The rotating speed of a rotation control motor for driving the register rolls 10 and 11 is varied temporarily until copy paper 7 reaches a front end detector 12 during variable magnification copying operation and returned to the speed in the unmagnification copying operation thereafter to perform transferring operation while the delay of the copy paper 7, i.e. a shift is corrected so that the front end of the copy paper 7 is aligned to the front end of an original image on the drum type photosensitive body 1. Therefore, the transferring operation is performed in the same mode with the unmagnification copying operation.</p> |
