PURPOSE:To readily and effectively monitor the presence or absence of a defect by differentiating a voltage detection signal, memorizing the differentiation signal, referring the memory in the prescribed period, and again resetting it after referring. CONSTITUTION:The output of an electric converter 7 is inputted to a differentiator 9, and a memory 10 is set by the output of the differentiator 9. A data processor applies a signal RS to the memory 10 at the prescribed time point to reset it, and the content of the memory 10 is loaded after 1-2 cycles of the power source period of the converter. When the memory 10 is referred after the lapse of one cycle or more after the memory 10 is reset, the defect of a semiconductor element can be monitored. |
