PURPOSE:To prepare a composite drug containing increased amount of drug per unit area and having industrial advantage, by crosslinking a surface of a polymer film, and laminating a mixture of a polymer and a specific transcutaneous drug to the other face of the film by coating or transfer. CONSTITUTION:The surface layer of one face of a polymer film into which a contacted drug can be permeated (e.g. polyvinyl acetate film) is crosslinked. The other face of the film is coated or transferred with a mixture obtained by adding a transcutaneous drug to a polymer having pressure-sensitive adhesivity at normal temperature, to form a laminated composite drug. The amount of the transcutaneous drug added to the polymer is more than the saturation solubility in the polymer. An acrylic copolymer is most suitable for industrial purpose. The transcutaneous drug is a solid at >=0 deg.C, e.g. corticosteroids, analgesic and antiinflammatory agent an antibiotic substance, etc. The crystallization of the drug in the polymer layer is inhibited, the obtained drug can be applied surely to the skin, the drug can be absorbed easily through the skin, and the drug action can be controlled.
