PURPOSE:To obtain an interphase insulator of a rotary electric machine which does not move at the time of inserting a coil by coupling both ends of insulating paper with a pair of yarns, inserting the yarns into the slot of a stator core and engaging them. CONSTITUTION:An interphase insulator 10 is secured by welding of a supersonic wave or the like two pairs of coupling yarns 33 made of polyester to both ends of two insulating sheets 11. The interval 12 of a pair of yarns is formed to be slightly larger than the maximum interval P between the outer shade ends of the bottoms of adjacent slots 5a, 5b of a stator core 4. A pair of yarns 33c, 33d are inserted over the ends of tees 13 of the core 4 by reducing the interval 12 between one pair of yarns 33c and 33d into the two slots 5a, 5b near the slot 5, to which U-phase coil 7 is inserted, of the slots 5, to which V-phase coil 8 is inserted. The other yarn 33f of the other insulating sheet 11a is inserted into the slot 5c adjacent to the slot 5b. |
