PURPOSE:To stably float and launch a floating body and a building structure while preventing them from rolling down, by loading ballast to balance moment around the center of buoyancy. CONSTITUTION:Making follow such a phenomenon that the support reaction of skids 2 supporting a floating body 3 is reduced and finally lost as the buoyancy of the floating body 3 decreases, ballast C is successively loaded on the side remote from the center G1 of gravity with respect to the center F2 of buoyancy so that moment around the center F1 of buoyancy due to the weight of a building structure 5 is balanced. With this method the moment which is liable to depress an overhanging section 5a may be cancelled out by the moment by the ballast C so that the support reaction of a skid 7 supporting the overhanging section 5a is successively reduced together with the support reduction of the skids 2. As a result, the overhanging section 5a may be also floated up, thereby the floating of the whole building structure 5a may be accomplished.
