PURPOSE:To enable test cables to be handled as desired regardless of the type thereof with an automatic bending testing for the cable by connecting a plurality of arms rotatably at the ends thereof with a connection pin to form a multi-joint body. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of triangular-plate-shaped arms 1 are connected straight rotatably at the ends thereof with a connection pin 2 to form a multi- joint body, which constitutes the body of bending tester. The arms 1 are expanded and connected to each other with a hydraulic cylinder 3 for bending adjacent arms. The arms 1 are each provided with a clamp 5 for retaining a test cable 4 and the cable 4 retained is bent following the bending of the arms 1 with the operation of the hydraulic cylinder 3. Therefore, a bending testing can be done for the cable 4 horizontally at the required frequency in a specified curvature with the movement of the arms 1. |
