The rod assembly, for securing doors, traps or windows, has a door-mounted carrier rail. Two bolts, guided along this, in opposite directions, have spur-rack type serration. Two locks are operated by corresponding keys from inside and outside. The serrations (11,12) on the two bolts (1,2) are engaged by two pins (9,10) between two discs (7,8) which turn with the lock cylinders (5,6). These determine the bolts' axial setting movements, in accordance with the keys' turns in the locks. They also act as fixing agents for automatic axial blocking or fixing of the bolts. |
