PURPOSE:To efficiently and automatically wash a car by arranging a car washing part equipped with an injector and rotary brushes each of which possesses softness and is revolved at variable speed, car-washing part transferring apparatus, water spraying part for spraying water onto the car, and a chassis drying part. CONSTITUTION:A car washer is equipped with each pair of upper rotary brushes 1, intermediate rotary brushes 2, and lower rotary brushes 3. Each rotary brush is made of soft material, and revolved at variable speed by speed changeable driving motors 10, 18, and 39. Further, each rotary brush is shifted in the longitudinal direction of a car by each transfer apparatus constituted of chains 14, 22, and 32, and sprockets 42c-42f, 52a-52b, and 57a-57b. A water sprayer 60 is installed above the car, and cleaning water is sprayed onto the upper surface of the car C, and further a heating and drying apparatus 73 is installed, and the car C is heated from the front and the back, and the upper surface of the car is heat-dried. Air is jetted-out from the supporting pipes 5, 16, and 29 of the respective rotary brushes in order to dry the upper surface and the side surface of the car. |
