PURPOSE:To omit a separate checking device by checking a working program every block at the preceding stage of a buffer memory. CONSTITUTION:The working program of a tape 1 is sent to a reading circuit 2, a buffer memory 3 and an instruction decoding circuit 4 respectively. At the same time, the necessary numeric calculations are carried out to give a numerical control to a machine tool. A checking circuit 20 is provided at the preceding stage of the memory 3. The circuit 20 stores previously an applicable format to a pattern table 22 in response to each G code. This stored format is compared with a read-out program through a pattern checking circuit 21. When this format is correct, it is sent to the memory 3. If the format is wrong, an error processing circuit 23 operates to stop the traveling of the tape 1 and displays the error. |
