PURPOSE:To execute various functions such as high-speed recording, double face recording, multipicture recording, or the like in a high speed with a high precision of picture position by providing a passage switching means, which leads selectively sheets, on a carrying path to connect organically plural picture recorders. CONSTITUTION:In case of double face recording, an image is recorded on a form in accordance with the first picture signal by the first image forming means 2, and the form is led to the first image fixing means 7 through a passage switching means 6 to fix the image and is transferred to a form handling part 4. In the part 4, the form is sent to a form inverting part 42 and is inverted and is led to a carrying passage 41 and is transferred to the second image recording means 3. An image is recorded on the opposite face of the transferred form in accordance with a signal S2, and the form is led to the second image fixing means 8. In case of multipicture recording, an image is recorded on the form in accordance with the first picture signal S3 by the first image recording part 2, and the form is led to the second image recording part 3 by the means 6 without fixing the image, and the second image is formed on the same face of the form in accordance with a picture signal S4, and images are fixed by the second image fixing means 8. |
