A FLUIDISED BED COMBUSTION APPARATUS

This fluidized bed combustion appts. includes a housing(11) for the bed, fluidizing gas-supply tubes(12) extending through one wall of the housing(the outermost ends being fixed to the opposite wall), and a liq. coolant passage(16) near the end of the tubes fixed to the walls. The tubes have apertures to release the gas. Pref. the tubes are fixed to a tube plate which is thermally coupled to the wall.
