PURPOSE:In a mirror system where the cabin mirror angle is varied through comparison between forward, rearward and side lights, to prevent erroneous function due to light from following cars by varying the mirror angle through reflection of rearward light. CONSTITUTION:Front or side light such as street light or tunnel light will enter into second light sensor 15 to increase its output signal and the output from a comparator 18 is near to 0 volt to disable an electromagnet 6. When light will enter into first light sensor 14 from following cars, it will prevail over the forward light to increase the output signal from the comparator 18 thus to function the electromagnet 6 and to vary the mirror 7 angle resulting in protection of driver against glare. |
