PURPOSE:To facilitate the sampling at a specified rate necessary for inspection by communicating a main chamber bottom and the subchamber bottom of an upper container through a changeover piece provided on the bottom of the upper container while the subchamber bottom is communicated with the lower container. CONSTITUTION:An upper container 2 is divided into a main chamber 7 and a subchamber 8 with a specified ratio of the crossing area in a cup-shaped container body 5 through a vertical partition 6, a changeover valve 9 is provided on the bottom of the body 5 and an fitting step 10 placed detachably at the upper end of a lower container 1. Urine sampled with a bed-pan for patients is made to flow into the container 2 and when a valve body 11 of a valve 9 is rotated by the operation of a handle 19 to connect an A port 14 to a B port 15 through a communication groove 17 so that the chambers 7 and 8 will be at the same level H. As the valve 11 is turned roughly by 180 deg. by the operation of the handle 19, the ports 14 and 15 are discommunicated and the port 15 is communicated with a C port 16 through a through hole 18. Thus, urine in the chamber 8 flows down into the container 1 to be measured and sampled at a specified rate. |
