PURPOSE:To enable formation of a sharp color image without being affected by the underlayer colors of a toner, printing ink, colored paper, or the like by using a color toner composed essentially of a synthetic resin and a colorant, and having hiding power not above a specified value and high opacity. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin, such as alkyl acrylate or methacrylate, PP, or the resins used for the electrostatic recording toner, are used alone or in combination. As a colorant, various kinds of org. pigments, dyes, and inorg. pigments are used alone or in combination, preferably, in an amt. of 1-20wt% of the resin. All the colors of a toner, colored paper, etc. on the underlayer can be obliterated by using a toner of <=0.6 hiding power when the second print is overlaid directly on the first print. |
