摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To measure continuously and precisely from a low a magnetic field to a high magnetic field by using >=2 magnetic rotation elements which differ in Faraday rotation power for a magnetic rotation part which rotates a plane of deflection according to the intensity of a magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:A Faraday rotation element 20 for a low saturated magnetic field which constitutes the magnetic rotation part rotates the plane of deflection greatly by a low magnetic field in proportion to the magnetic field and attains to a saturated magnetic field by the low magnetic field. Further, a Faraday rotation element 22 for a high saturated magnetic field rotates the plane of polarization slowly according to variation of the magnetic field to reach the saturated magnetic field by a high magnetic field. On the other hand, natural light projected from an optical fiber 10 is polarized by a polarizer 14 into linear polarized light, which has the plane of polarization rotated by the Faraday rotation elements 20 and 22 according to the intensity of the magnetic field H produced by a current to be measured. The amount of this rotation is detected as light intensity, which is displayed on a display device through an optical fiber 12.</p>
