Triazolylalkyl derivatives, their preparation, and their use as agents for the treatment of plants

The invention relates to novel triazolylalkyl derivatives of the formula <IMAGE> in which X has the meaning of <IMAGE>, R<1> and R<2> are optionally substituted aromatic or aliphatic hydrocarbon radicals and R<3> and R<4> represent the abovementioned radicals and also H, and to their salts, metal salt complexes and quaternisation products. To prepare them, triazolyl ketones of the formula <IMAGE> and alkyl halides are subjected to a condensation reaction, giving the compounds with <IMAGE> which can be further derivatised after reducing them to the alcohol. The products have biocidal, in particular fungicidal, properties.
