The invention relates to a spectacle cleaning device which has a housing which can be sealed from above by a pivoting cover and into which the spectacles to be cleaned are inserted from above. Cleaning is then performed with the aid of a liquid spraying device having spray nozzles directed onto the spectacle lenses. The spectacles are dried by means of air-delivery nozzles directed against the spectacle lenses in a subsequent drying process.
