The control system for a pole-shaking device contains an apparatus (5) for maintaining the load which brings about the maximum permissible temperature rise of the asynchronous motor (1); at an input (6) of the device a signal arrives which characterises the heating of the electric motor (1) whilst the output is connected to the inputs (7, 8) of controllers (2, 3) for the speed of revolution of the motor (1) and/or for the static moment of the unbalance masses.
