PURPOSE:To operate the device simply and surely even by an unskillful user by performing remote control of various electronic devices by the control device while observing the operating content according to the operating program displayed on the screen of a display device. CONSTITUTION:A discriminating circuit 23 discriminates the content of an operating command signal based on the display timing of the operating content displayed on the screen of a monitor television receiver 30 and the timing of the operating command signal applied from a receiving circuit 22, and its discriminating output signal is applied to a control circuit 24. A clock signal from a reference clock generator 25 is applied to a control circuit 24 so as to control the operation of the discriminating circuit 23 based on the reference clock signal according to the operating program stored in advance to the storage circuit formed by an RAM or a read only memory ROM or the like and so as to control the operation of an external control signal generator 27 and a character generator 28 in response to the discriminating output signal from said discriminating circuit 23. |
