PURPOSE:To obtain a battery having excellent stability in the working voltage during discharge by making the tip part of the side, to be buried into the positive pole, of the positive pole collector into the needle shape. CONSTITUTION:The tip part of the side, to be buried into the positive pole 3, of the positive pole collector 4 of a battery is formed in a needle shape by a method in which liquid such as thionyl chloride, sulfuryl chloride and phosphoryl chloride is made to be the positive pole substance, a carbon porous molded body 3 having a porosity rate of 75-95vol.% is made to be the positive pole while the positive pole collector 4 is inserted into said positive pole 3. For instance, the positive pole collector 4 made of stainless steel and having the diameter I of 0.7mm. and the length II of 2mm. of the needle-shaped tip part is used. Thereby, when being inserted into the positive pole 3, the positive pole collector 4 goes into the positive pole 3 while spreading out the carbon porous mold composing the positive pole 3 so as to prevent the carbon porous mold composing the positive pole 3 from crumbling thus stabilizing working voltage. |
