<p>The combustible assembly (1) according to the invention relates to cores of water-cooled nuclear reactors. In order to reach higher combustion levels, it comprises a consumable poison distributed in an assembly of poison wires (14) which are housed into available spaces between the fuel elements (6). Those wires have generally a composite structure. The fuel assembly according to the invention is particularly applied to pressurized or boiling water reactors. </p> |
